  • Pictured at Shannon Airport for the First Anniversary of Ryanair's Shannon-London route were: Claire O'Dwyer, Aer Rianta, Shannon(left) and Enda O'Toole, Ryanair, with Patrick and Rose Bowles, lucky winners of a free flight on Ryanair's new route from Shannon to Brussels Charleroi, which will commence on 26th of April. A record of over 200,000 passengers in just one year has been acheived by Ryanair.

Against the backdrop of an Autumn sunset, the hearse carrying the remains of Clare man Michael Ryan, who died in the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash earlier this year, goes through Lahinch enroute to Ennistymon cemetery for burial.
