  • SHANNON DEVELOPMENT APPOINTS DR VINCENT CUNNANE AS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE . Shannon Development today (Monday, 3rd March, 2008) announced the appointment of Dr Vincent Cunnane as Chief Executive Designate.  Dr Cunnane, who is currently Vice President Research at the University of Limerick, will become Chief Executive in June this year. Mr John Brassil, Chairman of Shannon Development, said: ?The Board of Shannon Development is delighted to have secured a new Chief Executive of the calibre of Vincent Cunnane.  He has an outstanding record of achievement in the academic field, and has the experience and the ability to lead the Company forward in the 21st century.  There are many challenges facing the company and the region, and I am fully confident, with Vincent at the helm, that we will rise to these challenges?. Dr Cunnane said: ?I am delighted to be appointed to this position.
