• Officials of St Senan’s Rugby Club in Shannon have complained of vandalism at the club grounds with locks being broken and damage caused to the pitch in addition to a large amount of domestic rubbish being dumped nearby.
A spokesperson for the club commented, “We have worked very hard to keep this club running over the years, especially in the last 12 months without being able to do any fundraising and this is again adding further to our costs. St Senan’s is a small local club and these unnecessary and unforeseen costs can really impact us so if anyone has any information about this, please contact the Gardaí.”
