• Anna Brennan and Grace Slattery collecting Christmas donations for people living in Direct Provision.

Members of BreakThrough Dance Company in Ennis coordinate with the Clare Immigrant Support Centre to regularly collect items useful to refugees, asylum seekers and other immigrants now living in the county.
For their Christmas collection, volunteers have been out and about urging people to donate. Shannon organiser Anna Brennan was overwhelmed by the response she received during a one-hour collection in SkyCourt on Saturday.
At the end of the hour, Anna and her paramedic friend Grace Slattery had filled the car full of everything from basic toiletries to hurleys and other Christmas gift items to bring some festive cheer to residents of Direct Provision Centres in the county.
