Carmel is presently Assistant Regional Director and the Regional Operations Officer for the South West Region. She joined the fledgling Shannon Branch of the Order of Malta in 1982 at just 9 years old, fibbing about her age as the entry requirement was actually 10! This year the branch celebrates its 50th anniversary. <br />

She joined the fledgling Shannon Branch of the Order of Malta in 1982 at just 9 years old, fibbing about her age as the entry requirement was actually 10! This year the branch celebrates its 50th anniversary. <br />
