Matthew Bermingham of Moyasta, Kilrush, who will be 100 years old in May, has been chosen as the Grand Marshall for the St Patrick's Day parade in Kilrush. He will also take part in the parades at Kilkee and Doonbeg where his 1945 vintage David Brown tractor, seen here being lovingly washed by his wife Peggy, will, as usual, accompany him.
