June Burke of the West Clare Snamhai Sasta Community, who are running a Christmas homeless appeal for the Mid West Simon charity. The items in the photo are the contents of a gift bag for an 11-year-old girl. Members of the public are asked to fill a bag for the homeless, adult or child, at Christmas as part of this appeal. Bags can be dropped off at Spanish Point beach any morning at 9.15 am, to Caitriona at Vaughan's Garden centre on the Gort road in Ennis and at the Armada Hotel, Spanish Point.
